Iran short ‘Echo’ to go BEYOND

Iranian short film ‘Echo’ has been scheduled to attend the BEYOND Film Festival in Germany.

Directed by Barzan Rostami, the 7-minute short will be one of the 15 works in contention at the 9th edition of the German film event which is dedicated to the climate change.  

‘Echo’ is about understanding and perception of wildlife and environmental abuse and its consequences on human race.

The animation which has already won the Best Animation Short Film Award at the Southern Cone International Film Festival in Mexico will soon attend more global events, including the Smaragdni eco film festival in Croatia and the International Festival of Animated film “Constantine’s Gold Coin” in Serbia.

The official website of the BEYOND Film Festival announces that this year’s edition of the event is specified to climate change.

Therefore, the films that have been accepted are all the ones that have ecological and environmental concerns.

The upcoming edition of the fest will held online over the COVID-19 on July 23-30, 2020.
